In the “grand plan of life” there are many times when we make choices with a leap of faith and hope that you’re moving in the right direction. Then somehow without a sign, and faster than you expected, your plans shift. This is what Joy experienced when she bought her townhouse in Hampton VA.

In 1999, working as a nurse in the chemotherapy center at Duke Hospital she was loving her job and life but felt like something was missing. She decided it was time to be closer to family in Coastal VA so she began looking for a place to call home. The purchase was made and Joy pushed forward to adjust to her new life in a new town.

Fast forward 17 years later and that new life she was anticipating never fully took shape.  For multiple reasons including the lack of a job comparable to what she had at Duke, she quickly ended up back in NC but still owned her home here in VA. The townhouse she purchased and half fixed up was left empty and the miles of travel became exhausting for her. She knew she had to sell... so she called us!

We made a plan for her to finish the ongoing projects throughout the home and connected her with a contractor to help her make it happen and within record time the townhouse was sold and she was on her way to a 1-home life again.

Joy now is back to a normal flow of life, work and hopefully enjoying her first summer without the added expenses and stress of Golden Willow Circle.
